A gentle approach, osteopathy can benefit many types of aches, pains and strains in people of every age. Our experienced osteopaths can carefully assess you and treat you according to what you need.
In addition, they can provide a detailed explanation for your pain and offer bespoke advice and exercises to help you to recover more quickly and to help prevent future recurrences of your problem. I want to thank you so much for getting me (and my back) standing straight, and mobile again. Your highly skilled treatment makes such a difference to my quality of life.

Services
Paul is an experienced osteopath, graduating in 1987 from the British School of Osteopathy (BSO), London. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in pain studies from Queen Margaret University and a Master of Science degree in pain management from the University of Edinburgh. He is a member of the International Association for the Study of Pain (IASP) and in his spare time Paul is a teaching fellow at the University of Edinburgh medical school.
When you first see one of our osteopaths they will spend some time asking you questions and taking a detailed case history. You will be asked about the problems that you are experiencing at the moment, your general health, lifestyle and medical history. A thorough examination will then be carried out to help clarify the problem and determine how best to proceed.
The practice lies on one of Edinburgh's major bus routes, approximately 15 minutes from Princes Street. We are situated between the Royal Commonwealth Pool and the Cameron Toll Shopping Centre, opposite the local Post Office. Parking is free and, between the hours of 9.30am until 4.30pm, is available immediately outside the practice.

Edinburgh Osteopathic Surgery is a fantastic establishment. Even though Paul (the owner and qualified osteopath)'s colleagues include skilled osteopaths, massage therapist and even an acupuncture clinic of the highest class. I've been here several times and have enjoyed every visit, everyone genuinely seems happy to greet you and serve up teas and coffees. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who's looking for a skilled and happy establishment altogether.
