Please be advised that there are limited waiting room facilities at Crick Medical Practice and West Haddon Surgery. Should you need to attend for a face to face appointment please dress appropriately for the weather. On arrival please check in at the window and then wait in your car when possible and we will come out and find you.

We would like to thank all our patients for their continued support and patience in these challenging times. Please be aware that the surgery will be closing on one Wednesday afternoon of each month for Staff Training. Times: 12:30 pm - 6:30 pm. During this time if you need to see a doctor urgently, you can call 111.
Services
Chronic Respiratory Disease, Asthma, Chronic Heart Disease, Chronic Kidney Disease, Diabetics, Chronic Liver Disease, Chronic Neurological Disease, Carers, Pregnant Women or those who have Low Immunity. Patients under 65 who are eligible for the vaccination will be contacted soon to receive their vaccination in October when we receive the vaccines.
All aspects of family planning advice with consultations with the doctor and our Nurse Prescriber. Coils and implants fitted by prior arrangement. We have the services of Jayne Bassett (Counsellor) and Katherine Dwyer from the Wellbeing team, both see patients at the surgery by appointment, following referral by the doctor.
We are operating a system where you, the patient, decide if you need a telephone consultation with the doctor or a face to face appointment. Please ask the receptionist which form of appointment you need when contacting us. Please arrive promptly and remember to cancel your appointment if you can no longer keep it; someone else may need to see the doctor urgently.
Although you can contact the new nationwide telephone call centre 24 hours a day, 111 is the number you will be automatically transferred to when calling the surgery after it is closed and before it reopens the next day. They will signpost you to the right service for your condition and symptoms. Home visits are only to be requested by patients who are too ill to travel to the surgery.
Having taken advice from several sources we feel that home delivery is the way forward. Alternatively, if you live in West Haddon, we will be offering collection from the branch surgery in Muncaster Way on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30am - 11:30am. We cannot leave medication at your home if no one is there to receive it and we ask that you allow a minimum of 4 working days from requesting your medication to receiving your order.
