We have state of the art equipment to diagnose and treat lameness in your horse at your yard. All our specialist Veterinary Surgeons are highly experienced in lameness examinations and carry radiographic and scanning equipment. We have four instant digital equine radiograph (x-ray) machines which can be used when several areas of your horse need to be imaged.
We have some of the most experienced equine tendon injury vets in the UK working in our practice. Whether it is a tendon injury from racing, polo, eventing or just out on a hack, we are able to offer all of the help and advice that you need to help your horse or pony to recover. Tendon injuries are one of the most common injuries in horses, particularly with the long tendons being so susceptible to damage from overexercising or trauma.
We have a selection of state of the art equine X-ray and Scanning equipment, used to diagnose and treat lameness and injury whilst we carry out mobile visits on the yard, or for emergency use in any other scenario where immediate attention in a remote location is required. Whether you are in need of a hoof or leg X-ray to diagnose suspected soundness issues, or if your horse has an alternative suspected injury, our team are on hand to help.
Upper and lower airway disease is a common cause of poor performance, particularly in high performance/high-intensity disciplines such as racing, eventing and polo. Equine respiratory endoscopy is very much part of routine veterinary care of racehorses, particularly during and after exercise. We perform standing endoscopy on many horses on a routine basis.

On Saturday 17th of August one of your employees left a dog unattended in a locked car with all the windows up except for a small 3cm gap in the sun roof. I stayed with the car for 20 minutes and called the police. The dog was very distressed and was continually setting off the alarm. This was upsetting for several passers by too, all the more so because the car is owned by a vet!!
When the owner returned, he asserted that the dog was not distressed and that we didn’t know as much as he did about animals!! I found him to be obnoxious and arrogant and in no way apologetic about the distress caused

We discovered a collapsed foal and after many calls to local vets by the RSPCA were able to get Alastair from this practice to stay for 5 hours with mother & foal until they could be moved. He was truly caring and highly expert in hopefully saving this newborn foal's life. This is a practice who were willing to come from over an hour away when so many others wouldn't. Thank you!
