I'm Jay Dudley and I've been working locally as a Hypnotherapist and Confidence Coach for 20+ years. I love to help people break free of old habits such as smoking and overeating, so they can live their very best life. My greatest passion is helping people lift their spirits and break free of limitations, so they can be true to themselves, live life to the full, and enjoy self esteem, confidence and happiness.

Clients generally come to see me because they feel frustrated with a particular area of their life. They often say - if I could just resolve this ONE issue, everything else would fall into place. If so, then this is just for you. For some people a one-session "quick-fix" is all you need, but others need several sessions to get to the root of the problem, and make significant lasting change.

I've been working as a coach and therapist since 1992, when I decided my 15 year career in the electronics industry really didn't excite me any more. I'd always been interested in the power of the mind, and its untapped potential. I think what really qualifies me to help you though, is that I've lived a lot of life and personally overcome most of the issues that walk through my clinic doors.
This is the kind of work I find most rewarding, as I'm privileged to witness a powerful transformation take place in the space of just 5 hours. Freud reckoned it would take between 500 and 600 hours of talking therapy for someone to resolve their past. A well-heeled therapist wouldn't need too many clients to make a living out of that.
It might surprise you to know that I don't encourage people to diet, in fact I sometimes encourage people to stop dieting. My outcome for you would be to establish a healthy relationship with food, where you feel in control of your eating without the need for random dietary rules. For some people, a quick fix is possible, but for most we need to get to the root cause of the problem, and this can require more time.
A powerful and liberating process designed to increase your confidence, self esteem and self belief. When we feel confident, we can make the changes we need to get our lives on track. You may think confidence is something you're born with if you're lucky, but actually it's something you can develop and grow.
We all hate being told what to do - whether we're 15 or 50 - and the more our family, doctor or the government tell us we SHOULD stop smoking, the more we rebel. And let's face it, scary pictures on cigarette packets don't work either. Many more people really want to stop now, and for the right reasons -because they WANT to, not because they should.
