Hello & Welcome to Emma Newman Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy, I am here to give you advice about Hypnotherapy & introduce myself. I am Emma Newman Hypnotherapy & Psychotherapy and I am located in Middleton, Manchester. Each session is unique to you & can change your life as you begin the journey to discovering a new YOU, or get the old YOU back.

Everyone is unique so results vary to the individual; my sessions are designed to work with you and try to help you to be more positive and reduce your stress and anxiety levels, and increase your overall positive mindset; which as a result will help you in many different areas of your life, whether it be your job, relationships, money, relationship with food, the list is endless.

Hypnosis is a special state of mind which happens when we allow ourselves to completely relax, because when we do this the conscious and subconscious mind come together in what we call a trance state. When we are in this special relaxed state the Hypnotherapist has access to your subconscious thoughts and this is where all your behaviours are stored.
Psychotherapy is the part of the session that you the client can discuss their dreams, hopes and desires. I use the Brief Solution Focused Therapy method. This will capture your goals for your future and subconsciously your mind will put things in place to help you work towards achieving them. A combination of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy will reinforce these positive changes.
I am a Fully Qualified Hypnotherapist & Psychotherapist. I treat you as an individual and I will listen to your problems, queries and history. I do not offer advice as I am not a counsellor or Psychologist. When I help you to reduce your stress levels it's like a fog has been lifted, allowing you to see your own paths and answers, that will have been there all along without any suggestions or advice from me.
Anxiety and stress can be harmful for your health. It can increase the chance of heart problems, cause stomach ulcers, and can cause panic attacks, irritability, tear, fatigue, lack of concentration and anger, it has also been linked to physical health problems such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and migraines.
Depression can leave you feel unmotivated, sleepy, unsociable and alone in the world. Just getting out of bed in the morning can be a challenge as it is easier for you to stay in bed away from the everyone and everything. You may even have had thoughts about leaving this world behind you.

I had five sessions with Emma to work on getting back into a more positive place in regard to my studies. By talking things through, and the way she specifically tailored the hypnotherapy, I am now ready to face the challenges ahead in the next two years. I found Emma resolved my anger issues with her hypnotherapy sessions. I am much calmer and in control since we started the course. Now its finished I feel refreshed and positive . Definitely recommend trying Hypnotherapy , I was skeptical to begin with but this has truely changed my opinion. Give it a go you might be suprised.

I had six sessions with Emma to work on 'white coat' high blood pressure readings. Emma was fantastic at helping me understand how my brain was making this happen, and how to start to train it to behave itself. I started having normal readings within the six sessions. I would recommend Emma without hesitation. Her sessions are very professional but also very relaxed.

I can't speak highly enough of Emma and her service. She has helped massively and anybody who wants to kick any sort of habit should consider this route. Nothing worked before - counselling, anti depressants etc. I cannot believe the results from Emma's sessions, and can't thank her enough

I visited Emma to help with my phobia of driving, she is brillIant she puts you at ease. My sessions were really relaxing and i always came away feeling calm and confident. Thanks to Emma i no longer dread getting behind the wheel i would highly recommend her to anybody who is looking for a hypnotherapist.
