Grosvenor Windows
Grosvenor Windows was first established 40 years ago as a small family business in the Bolton area and has grown to become one of the North West's leading home improvement companies still owned and operated by the same local family. The business was started by Peter Mills in 1975, initially as a manufacturer and installer of aluminium windows.

Known at this time as Aluminium Conversions and with Peter initially acting as salesman, manufacturer & installer his hard work and commitment grew the business over the next few years requiring a relocation to larger premises in Grosvenor Street, Bolton. This coincided with a switch from aluminium to UPVC products to match the changing market and the new name of Grosvenor Windows was introduced.
Services
Double and triple glazing with the latest technology give u-values as low as 0.8 and ratings up to A+21. All our awards are based on customer reviews that are returned to Network Veka on every installation we carry out. Grosvenor Property Services offer a full building service including extensions and renovation.
Whether your house is traditional or modern, large or small, a town house, a bungalow or a cottage in the country, Grosvenor have the windows to compliment your home perfectly. All our windows are "A" rated as standard so you are assured that they are the most energy efficient. We also have the option of triple glazing which with a combination of warm edge spacer, Planitherm Total + glass and argon gas filling can give you a U value of only 0.8.
The Grosvenor Composite window is designed to replicate the 19th Century Flush Sash Timber window so it can be considered for use in Conservation Areas due to its authentic appearance. This authentic design is also appealing to any homeowner who wants a top end luxury window brand that can accommodate a 28mm double or a 44mm triple glazed unit with a market leading thermal and acoustic performance.
Whether your house is traditional Victorian, Georgian or a cottage in the country, Grosvenor have the windows with all the period features but in a modern low maintenance UPVC. All our vertical sliding windows are "A" rated as standard so you are assured that they are the most energy efficient. Triple glazing or acoustic glass can also be used to greatly reduce the noise level should you live near a busy road.
Lumi frameless windows and doors have been designed to have a dramatic effect on the overall look of a home. With wall-to-wall glass with no raised, mounted frame and no painted surfaces. Hidden under the ceramic colour lies the secret to Lumi's strength - energy efficient triple glazing that has been structurally bonded to an internal core of high strength, glass fibre reinforced profiles.

I thought by paying over the odds I'd be getting a good service. How wrong! I have never had dealings before with such incompetence. I had Windows and a palladio door fitted by Grosvenor 3 years ago and experienced a a series of inexcusable mistakes.
Firstly, they fitted red beveled glass in the front door and blue in the Windows!
Secondly, despite ordering obscure glass for the bathroom they fitted clear, as I live on a main road this was totally unacceptable. When they replaced the glass it was fitted back to front.
After being shown an impressive and attractive roof in the showroom we ordered

GREAT SERVICE …….. 20 YEARS AGO!
My parents dealt with Grosvenor 20 years ago when they replaced the complete set of house windows and patio door (9 or 10 units). We couldn’t fault them in terms of quality of product, price, or service.
However, as can often happens when the original founding owner hands over the reins to the next generation, things can start to change – and, in many instances it’s not for the better! This is very much the case with Grosvenor.
I’ve dealt with them a couple of times in the last 3 – 4 years and it’s been ‘OKAY’, prices were high but the service
