Our tailored educational programmes focus on preparing children for school, and help encourage independence and self confidence. Sharks holiday and out of school club offers a variety of fun filled activities for ages 5yrs to 11yrs old. We love to explore the natural environment around us by visiting local beaches and woodlands and have a large out door classroom with a yurt, fire pit, play area, bike track and raised veggie patch.

Our commitment is to ensure we offer a variety of holistic opportunities and incorporate an abundance of educational goals through fun challenges. AMy son has been attending this pre school for the last 2 years, I am extremely impressed and have never had a problem with the care he has received and can thoroughly recommend it.

Opportunities for children to gain in confidence and self-esteem as they become active, independent learners.
We offer your child a key person approach because children thrive from a base of loving and secure relationships. This is normally provided by a child's parents but it can also be provided by a key person. A key person is a named member of staff with responsibilities for a small group of children who helps those children in the group feel safe and cared for.
St Columb Minor Preschool and Out of school Club is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children of all ages and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We have a number of policies and procedures in place that contribute to our safeguarding commitment, including our Child Protection Policy, please book an appointment to pop in and read our policies and procedures.
