We have therapy rooms in Great Barr and Sutton Coldfield as well as providing sessions by telephone or online (using Skype or Zoom). Providing Cognitive Behavioural therapy (CBT), Counselling and Psychotherapy, we specialise in helping people with -. Our primary ethic is to ensure that you are at the forefront of everything we do to ensure that your needs and aims are fulfilled.

As members of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy BACP, we work to their Ethical Framework which stresses a commitment to putting You first in everything we do. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Counselling in Great Barr, Birmingham and Sutton Coldfield. This year's theme for Children's Mental Health Week is 'Express Yourself' to encourage our young.

The aims of our role are centred around helping You to lead a happier, more content and fulfilling life where you can be freer from anxiety, stress and low mood to appreciate and enjoy the endless wonderful elements of ourselves and our lives. Fully Qualified with a First Class Honours Degree from Derby University in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and have a Diploma in Counselling.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps by giving you all the tools and strategies you need to manage life's difficulties and to free yourself from self limiting thoughts and beliefs. As an evidence based counselling therapy, it aims to reduce psychological distress and dysfunctional behaviour by altering thought processes (cognitions).
Counselling helps us by allowing us to express ourselves, process how we're feeling and to find ways to lead our lives with greater fulfilment and contentment. Commonly, it helps us with anxiety, low mood, trauma and relationships. Issues and problems are a natural part of life. Anxiety and low mood affects a huge proportion of the population.
Currently, telephone counselling is an essential way to gain the support that you require as a society and as individuals and families, we face such new and strong challenges. It works in the same way as face to face counselling except it's a telephone call rather than a meeting. It has always been available and used famously by services such as the Samaritans and Childline.
Counselling can help us so greatly to develop coping mechanisms and alleviate symptoms of Anxiety, Low mood and depression, Trauma and PTSD and Stress or to deal with Relationship issues. To explore issues or problems that maybe causing difficulties and assess options to make positive changes.

Often, by having time and space to talk about concerns and issues in a caring and supportive environment, we can help you begin to gain the awareness and clarity needed to move forward.Counselling can help you to gain a greater self awareness to enable you to make the right choices for you. By gaining an insight to piece together the parts of your complex uniqueness, it can allow you to see things clearer and allow you to assess your options.
