Within easy access from the M6 and M61 Yarrow Valley Golf Course is a family run nine hole parkland golf course with a reputation as one of the best in Lancashire. Situated in the quiet village of Charnock Richard just on the outskirts of Chorley, Lancashire, with spectacular views of the pennines and surrounding countryside. Construction began on building the course in 1994 with all the greens and tee's built to USGA standards, and opened in 1996 on a pay and play basis, with a Membership option introduced in 2003.
Services
The course measures 1551 yards from the Mens tee's and 1435 yards from the Ladies tee's consisting of eight par 3s and one par 4, each hole offering its own challenge with water in play on four holes and strategically placed bunkers to offer a good challenge to players of all abilities. There is also a practice area including large putting green, driving net and chipping area.
