Played the back 9 holes prior to a lesson today. Never played this course before. Fairways and greens were fantastic, a view I shared with one of the greenkeepers, who seemed really pleased and proud of the condition of the course. Some holes seemed familiar due to watching "Golf Mates" and the holes I played were really well laid out. I'm looking forward to spring when all holes are open, and I can see me playing here many times. Friendly helpful staff too. What's not to like 👍👍

The course has gone up many levels this year. The greens are so smooth and roll true. The rest of the course looks amazing and you can see the amount of work that has been undertaken and clearly the attention to detail has improved. If you haven't played the course the past 10 months then you're missing out. Loads of drainage work has been done on the new side in important areas so this will keep the 18 holes open after periods of bad weather.
Really looking forward to going back and playing the course.

We played footgolf with my wife, her son and his friend. A fantastic afternoon, healthy and fun. Definitely worth the price I think it was about £32 for 2 adults and 2 children for 18 holes - which is the 9 hole course done twice.
It uses a small 9 hole practice golf course with football sized holes near the normal gold ball holes.
Really recommended for a few hours on a nice day.

When we arrived, we was told that holes 3,4,5,6,&7 were closed for drainage work! We decided to play the back 9 twice, not too difficult with some nice holes. But the ground was VERY wet underfoot, with pools of water scattered about. Even Some of the greens had pools of water on them like the green staff hadn't been round to clear them.
Would I come back?? Only if I couldn't find anywhere else to play.
I know it's only £15 a round, but for quite a well established club there shouldn't really be an issue with drainage especially as it's been pretty good weather for the last week!!
