Excellent restaurant and bar, superb wines and the usual copious spirits are available.
The Swan is the holder of a 5 star award for cleanliness. Prices are very fair for the food and drink.
The key part to pulling together of all these skills are the staff, they are all very polite and keen to help.
While at The Swan, get away from the excellent food and drink, go and visit The Watercress line railway.

I had my 60th birthday lunch there on Saturday and eight of us stayed the night. The food was fantastic. The room set aside was perfect and the Accomodation was very comfortable. Most of all the attention to detail, efficiency and helpfulness of Jessica was very impressive considering how hard she worked. We were also very impressed with Louise who looked after our arrival and departure and Lino who also worked very hard yet remained calm and pleasant throughout. The chef also deserves a medal. Food was faultless. Top place to have a birthday party.

As a young couple many places won't allow us to eat there however the Swan did and we absolutely enjoyed every moment. The staff were friendly, welcome, helpful and warming. The food was excellent for their pricing and the pub and restaurant itself was very clean. Excellent service will brilliant food. We will definitely be returning with the rest of the family.
