If you are a veteran of any of H.M. armed forces and you are experiencing psychological distress as a result of your service to your country, you are entitled to certain rights of access to psychological interventions through the NHS. Despite the fact that there are lengthy waiting lists for such services, there is Department of Health guidance that states that veterans should be prioritised for accessing therapy.
