All our childcare practitioners have qualified at Level 3 NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development or Specialist Support for Teacher and Learning in Schools. They have attended Paediatric First Aid training and Child Protection courses, which are renewed every 3 years. All our staff have had Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks in the last 3 years.
Fishbourne Pre-School is a registered incorporated charity and a non-profit making Limited Company. We are managed by an elected, parent-based committee. Committee management includes evening meetings six times a year plus the Annual General Meeting. All the money generated by committee fundraising is invested into the Pre-School to directly benefit the children.
We run two main sessions a day. The morning session runs from 9.00 am to 12.00 and the afternoon sessions runs from 12.30 pm to 3.30pm. Some children do attend an all day session, at the request of the parent or carer. Lunch club runs from 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm for children booked into either the morning or afternoon session.
