Booked this as a birthday treat for my wife we looked at Google reviews for the area we were staying in. the menu was a little different from the one online but still a good selection we had the chicken and haggis and pork and black pudding stack then.profierolls and jam sponge and custard everything was good I just didn't like the sweet sauce on the pork but that was just my taste and had no veg with it but as my wife had loads I just pinched a little from hers . nice helpful staff and didn't feel rushed it's quite tight when busy in the main bar so booking ahead is recommended

Staff very friendly, nice atmosphere. Food ok but not great, expensive for what it is and portions quite small.

This a bit late as ours was passing visit when we stopped to have food back in June 2021. They kindly gave us a table and were very attentive and friendly. We decided to have the game pie an wow, has to be the best pie we have eaten, this was followed by the chocolate baileys moose, show mouth watering stopper and worth every penny. The waitress and owner were very helpful in our quest to find haunted locations that we could visit and we hope to return to stay in one of the inns beautiful rooms. Thank you and we hope to see you again in the near future.

1st class staff, high level professionalism, actually made us feel very welcome and that they really liked their jobs(very rare). I always have fish and chips and these were top notch, the best in a long while. My wife is 100% vegan and although there was only one choice she enjoyed it very much. Great experience thanks to the staff and chefs. See you again when back on holiday
