Established in 2006 by Cake Designer Dawn Wilson, I have built a reputation of delivering stunning Wedding cakes which taste as delicious as they look. I decided to make and decorate her Christening Cake. This developed into my immense love of Cake Design. I love learning new skills and keep my skill base evolving by enrolling on many specialist classes, usually involving sugar flowers.

I use only the freshest and finest quality ingredients to ensure your cake lives up to my exacting standards. Working from my fully equipped Cake room on our Family Farm, I work with my Couples to collaboratively design a focal point for your Special Day.

Services
All my Luxury Wedding Cakes are made using the finest quality ingredients including homemade and especially local to Nottinghamshire wherever possible. Infused with freshly squeezed lemon juice and zest, filled with lemon curd and a lemon buttercream. Delicately flavoured with Elderflower essence giving a gorgeously light and refreshing flavour.
Sometimes due to work constraints and other commitments, it's simply easier to enjoy your consultation from the comfort of your own home! We still discuss everything as mentioned above and you can still see some display cakes behind me in my Cake room. Flavour sample boxes are available to order, these are usually available every 2 months and contain a selection of 8 flavours.

Dawn did a fantastic job with our wedding cake and we would highly recommend her work. After an online consultation (COVID) Dawn listened to our ideas and took them away to come up with sketches of a few designs. We then had the difficult task of picking flavours or different layers (which was difficult as the samples sent in the post were all delicious). The final result was stunning and admired by our guests and equally as important it was also delicious and there was plenty to go around. We are still looking forward to the leftovers that we have frozen – perhaps for our first wedding anniversary

Both Dawn and her cakes are amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she even tried out a new flavour for us (which all our guests loved!)
Everyone always says be prepared for lots of leftover cake, but everything that got put out got eaten! We had so many comments from our guests that the cake was great. Luckily we'd saved some for ourselves for after which even tastes great having been frozen.
There was a bit of added pressure on the day setting up when Dawn had to put some unexpected floristy skills into action- she pulled it off with ease.
We also had the pleasure of a visit to Dawn's

We absolutely LOVED our naked wedding cake! It was exactly what we had asked for and was so unique and special. The top two tiers were a mouth watering pink gin sponge with rose lemonade buttercream and for the bottom a stunning victory sponge. They were both so delicious and all our guests couldn’t get enough! From our first enquiry, followed by an amazing taster session at Dawns personal baking room, right up to her setting up on the day of the wedding, she was an absolute pleasure to work with.
