The beautiful island of Saint Lucia straddles the boundary between the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. In 2018, I visited as a guest of the St. Lucia Tourist Board who had organised the trip as part of their Travel Expert Programme. Over the course of seven days, I stayed in five incredible luxury resorts and visited over 20 hotels in total.

I found Val almost 2 years before my wedding, she was instantly engaging with me and so lovely to communicate with. She provided choices of different types of services which let us pick our style of supplier. Towards the end and nearer to the wedding the connection grew and she became an extension of my family almost, speaking and messaging many times a day. I can honestly say my wedding wouldn’t have been as good if I hadn’t had her by my side. Val helped my husband plan a surprise 50th birthday weekend for me - and it was truly amazing in every way and I know he couldn't have done it without her! There's so much we can, will and should say about Val, but the short answer is that she's an absolute freakin' SUPERSTAR!
We didn't initially even consider needing any kind of event planner for our wedding, but it soon became clear that the logistics of the venue we'd picked demanded some assistance.
There really aren't any words for how much Val aided us, from taking names and contact details for literally every supplier we had, coordinating their arrival times and itineraries, being the point of contact on the day should any issues arrive all the way down to helping me cack-handedly assemble
