Hypnosis is a very calm and relaxed state of mind which allows the subconscious mind to be receptive to new information or changing unwanted beliefs or behaviours. It is similar to the state just before falling asleep, or if you nod off slightly while watching TV. Hypnosis is completely safe and a person being hypnotised is fully in control of what they say or do.
