Looe Taxis has been established for as long as I can remember which must be at least 40 years.

It has belonged to Sue and Alan Stevens for the last 12 years; Alan already ran Alan's taxis based in Looe & had been a cabby for several years, so with his experience and the help of the drivers that already worked for Looe Taxis, all of us working as a team and working very hard both days & evenings we became the biggest firm in Looe, but gone are the days when we can do that, so we have now scaled down to 4 four seater taxis and still work most days throughout the year.

Luggage Transfer Report

We offer a luggage transfer service, this lets you concentrate on your holiday and whilst you walk the coastal path we will pick up your luggage from you accommodation and drop it your next overnight stop/train station. You will not be disappointed when travelling with Looe Taxis whether it's a short or long journey but best of all we are a friendly caring bunch and enjoy a good laugh!.

I have used the taxis on numerous occasions. Was surprised this time to find them closed at 11pm. We were at the hannafore point hotel and it surprises me that a money maker such as this is not catered for. Luckily we were able to use our feet to get home. My advice, book in advance.

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, Value
Booked 5 days in advance and had email confirmation of pick up time but failed to show or ring even though that had our mobile number. Missed a restaurant booking and our £20 deposit, avoid at all costs!

We were staying at the back of behind in Trevelmond but not only did Linda find us (with a little help from her satnav) but she was spot on time collecting us from our cottage but also after our meal.
She certainly helped make it a great birthday evening with her pleasant and helpful manner and made the journey a pleasure.
