Optitech opticians adopt a fair and reasonable approach to meeting our patients and customers needs. We believe in giving choice to our patients so they don't feel compromised or coerced into buying products or services that are too expensive for their budget. We have a large selection of frames to choose from, with a wide range of prices.
A routine eye examination will ensure that your sight is functioning to its optimum level. In our daily lives, we often adapt and ignore the early symptoms of pain and discomfort that our bodies alert us on. It could be an occasional headache, tired eyes at the end of the day, occasional blurring or even other health problems.
Have you developed a sudden onset red and/or painful eye that requires urgent investigation? We are accredited and funded by Enfield and Haringey Trust to examine any residents of this borough free of charge, within a 48-hour period. Please quote the 'MINOR EYE CONDITIONS SCHEME' to our reception staff, and they will do their utmost to accommodate you or provide you advice on your eye problem.
At Optitech, we strive to keep to the front end of technology. Over the past 20 years, there has been a rapid advancement in technology for use in every aspect of eye care. We offer this more enhanced eye examination to both our NHS and private patients at a small additional cost. This imaging is very safe and quick, involving only a few flashes of light.
A natural age-related change occurs to our eyes in our early to mid forties. The flexible crystalline lenses within our eyes are controlled by muscles that provide the focusing power to adjust our vision at different distances. It is thought that these lenses becomes more rigid with age and the muscles gradually weaken.

I saw Daven July 2021 him and his team are SO helpful and the reason anyone should go there. He took time to call me back in for a 2nd visual fields report test to confirm if my eyes were anything to do with headaches i was receiving. He really took time to explain everything, reassured me and talked me through the process. What a guy! He even sent me a mail with the reports. I wouldn't go anywhere else but Optitech! Thank yo!

My family and I changed over from Specsavers as we wanted somewhere closer to home and with a more family like feel. Optitech is a brilliant optician, Mr Patel is super professional and you really do place a lot of trust in his views and assessment. Recently I had to have my sight test with my toddler next to me, the whole team worked on keeping him occupied whilst I had my test done! They made me feel at ease. Thank you again.

I thoroughly recommend Optitech Opticians, as they are absolutely fantastic. Daven is very professional, knowledgeable and excellent at his job. Mo, Sandy and the rest of the team are also really great and very helpful. I am lucky to have found such a good team, and that is why my family and I have been coming here for many years!
