We are a small, traditional, community nursery open daily from 9.00 - 12.00. We take children from 2-5 years old and offer a caring, fun, and educational experience within a nurturing environment. We enjoy playing, observing nature and the seasons, dancing and singing, and we love stories and books.
We get messy in our mud kitchen, look for bugs in our bug hotel, grow vegetables, build dens, and learn and explore. As part of our routine we have a weekly performance arts/dance class to help encourage creativity, coordination and physicals skills, and on Fridays we bake bread. OFSTED said 'Children make good progress; they are confident eager and motivated to learn.

Services
The Nursery is open Monday to Friday during term time, from 9:00am to 12:00pm. We take children from 2 years to 5 years. Younger children attend on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; older children come in for five mornings during the school year before they go to primary school. The Nursery is in St. Peter's Church Hall, situated by the River Thames.

The best nursery in the area. Staff and manager are amazing they did their absolute best for my little boy can’t wait for my other little boy to join.

Everything here was over my expectations and I'm so grateful for everything.
Manager Sarah and staff are so friendly, kind, helpful, working hard for the interest of our kids. Best communication nursery staff - parents. All the time informed about everything.
My son has a huge improvement helped by this lovely staff.
We wish you all the best in the future🤗😍 . Luca loves you all a lot and keep asking everyday when we go to nursery. He will definitely miss you all a lot.

Love St Peter’s Nursery School. I have very fond memories of my children going there. It gave them a great start in life. They learnt so much about nature, arts and crafts, playing with a wide variety of toys, dressing up, confidence in themselves,learning to share and be kind to each other and many other things. A great grounding for school and life.

Such a warm and caring environment, great staff and lots of thoughtful activities - a book of the week, normally related to an event or season, baking, lots of outdoors play and different themed areas to the room - a tea party corner, a comfy reading zone, tents, a climbing area, trains, dinosaurs...! My son adores it.
