Shepperton Organic Day Nursery
Privately-owned and operated, Shepperton Organic Day Nursery is conveniently situated at 50 Sheep Walk, Shepperton, Middlesex TW17 0AJ. Feeling happy, safe and secure whilst developing lively and enquiring minds forms the core of the Nursery's caring ethos and approach to early education. We aim to help every child to fulfil his or her potential in every aspect of their development.

Learning through play takes place naturally. We identify teachable moments that enhance and extend a child's experiences. We plan in the moment and embrace a child's interpretation of what or how something should be. This creates 'wow' moments where lasting memories are made. Every ingredient of every meal is organically sourced.
Services
Shepperton Organic Day Nursery are proud to be the first children's nursery in the UK to be as fully organic. Shepperton Organic Day Nursery is located in a state-of-the art facility with anti-allergy flooring in children's rooms, stimulating light and spaces, and a range of community playthings, toys, equipment and learning aids.
We have legal requirements to satisfy and must recruit suitably qualified people to uphold ratios of staff:children however, we take care to really get to know 'the person' and attentively select the individual who will want to be part of our team. Elodie, our Director is a qualified French Teacher with over 15 years' experience in teaching in Early Years settings.
Our Ladybird Room is dedicated solely to our babies from 3 months old to around 2 years old; the upper age limit depends on our assessment of each child's individual needs and abilities. It is adorned with colourful pictures, mobiles, soft toys and furnishings. This is a perfect environment for babies to start to crawl and explore their surroundings.
Children in Bumblebee Room are of an age where they will begin to make more definitive choices for themselves; attachments are being formed and they begin to respond positively to the introduction of some useful boundaries. Communication is of great importance as children start to make that transition to a new level of independence.
Children at this age have an increased interest in joint play such as make-believe, construction and games which help them to learn the important social skills of sharing, co-operating and conflict resolution. Children also learn more about helping adults in everyday activities and finding a balance between independence and complying with the wishes of others.
