Greenacres believes that every child is an individual that has their own interests and needs and will develop at their own pace. We provide a stimulating and fun environment in which the children can explore and practise their skills in a safe and exciting atmosphere. At Greenacres we use The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to support the children's learning through planned and impulsive activity.

Enabling Environments - 'The Environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children's development and learning'. Welcome to Greenacres Childcare, we hope that you will find this information useful, but obviously only a firsthand visit will demonstrate how you child can benefit from the safe and stimulating environment that we provide.
Every child in Greenacres care has the right to a wonderful experience of fun, learning and development. It is important throughout that we are able to monitor your child's progress individually and intervene early if any struggles are apparent. We work closely to support parents in conjuction with other professionals if needed.
We endeavour to maintain a 90% ratio of qualified staff alongside training suitable team members to reach our high standards. We carefully place our staff according to experience, skills and personality to create the perfect teams for each room and then of course our next priority is to keep our staff.
All children are very welcome at our facilities and will be given every opportunity to maximise their full potential and enjoy their day. We recognise each child's individual needs without discrimination and enable everyone to celebrate their individuality positively. Our nursery ensures each child is fully integrated into the environment and respects and gains from the diversity of the group.
We believe that the health and safety of those in our care is of the utmost importance. We endeavour to ensure that Greenacres is a safe and healthy place for all children, staff, parents, carers and visitors. The setting aims to make children, parents/carer, staff and other visitors aware of health and safety issues and to minimise the hazards and risks to enable the children to thrive in a healthy and safe enviroment.

Greenacres looked after our little girl (2yrs) during lockdown for a few months and our experience of the care and support she has received whilst there has been fantastic. She was helped to settle in and did so straight away. It has been so hard for us to decide to move her back to her old nursery now it is back open and the only reason we are… doing so is because it is 5mins from our house rather than a 20min drive. Eira has had such an amazing time at Greenacres Hampton so I would really recommend it. Jan has been so helpful in organising Eira’s care. In the Tigers room a big shout
