Services
We will provide a rental valuation scale, always endeavoring to achieve the higher amount. We advise that you prepare to market your property a minimum of eight weeks before the expected completion date. We may possibly have tenants seeking a property on our applicant listing, hence not having to market at all, merely arranging a viewing and securing a tenant very quickly.
We are not an Estate Agent, we are totally dedicated to Lettings. We see ourselves as 'matchmakers' to find the right tenants for the perfect property and landlord. We ourselves have personal experience of being both landlords and tenants. We have a wealth of life experience, which is very helpful when you are considering the difficult decision of which agency to let your property with us, you are in 'safe capable hands'.
We have three varieties of property management service to suit landlords of all types. These range from the all-encompassing Full Management Service for Landlords who do not live nearby or who do not want the burden of the everyday management of their rental property, to the Rent Collection Only and Tenant Find Services for Landlords who wish to adopt a more 'hands on' approach to their property portfolio.
We will obtain references from Rentshield for your prospective tenants. The referencing will include: employment details, current landlords, previous landlords, credit check and personal references. Arranging the inventory with an Independent Inventory Company, Gas Safety and Energy Performance Certificate, where appropriate.
This service is ideal for landlords who simply want us to find a suitable tenant, collect a deposit, the first month's rent and ensure a standing order is set up for all further rent payments. Not heard from them for 6 months now ,we had been with a previous estate agents, we are current tenants as the landlord past away and they want all there properties under one, we have had no maintenance, and kept being promised 2 weeks,very nice and polite when they came to sign contract, but then things turned around very quickly , and was very rude and demanding to see the property the Monday,it was Thursday evening and calling me in the evening around 7pm out of work time, I didn't realise but the contract looks wrong, and it says 24 hours for anyone to visit, I am now living in fear and I seen

Priors Residential Lettings came highly recommended to me 6 years ago and since then I have had my property managed by them. What makes Jane & Kevin stand out is that they clearly know their subject and market extremely well and are genuinely warm, friendly and courteous.
Priors have always been very professional, promptly arranging any maintenance or repairs when required and any work has always been of a very high standard. When tenancies are due to end, they are very quick in working on finding new tenants – our current tenant gave notice 2 weeks ago and Priors have already found a replacement

Highly recommended! Priors are a fantastic lettings company, everything was managed quickly and professionally. Their response time is impressive and the property was lovely. Short story - landlords, avoid like the plague.
I had an extremely awful experience with Priors, upon reading the other real review on here we share similar stories, ones of deceit and rudeness.
Bias opinions aside, the contract we were made to sign was faulty, as per government restrictions any lettings agent should not put in a contract that the tenant HAS to pay for private cleaning, we were told to use the priors residential contractors, which we are confident Priors take money on top of, as we got one of them to quote us and then a week later Priors sent us an invoice with a higher amount

Priors Residential Lettings have been the best agents I have ever dealt with. We have had 2 tenancies with them and they have both been a breeze. I feel well looked after by Priors. They are easy to contact and keep us well informed about routine inspections, costs and any other information we need to know well in advance. If we experience any issues, all we need to do is call and the issues are resolved quickly and professionally. The staff have been friendly, loyal and understanding throughout our tenancy and we will most likely use them again if we move. I would highly recommend Priors Residential

I have enjoyed the support of Jane & Kevin for several years and found the entire team at Prior’s an absolute delight to deal with.

From the view of a tennant Priors were very poor.
At first they were very polite and friendly, the second that contract is signed they are generally not very good at communication and if there is an opportunity for them to take your money they will.
The alarm bell should have rang when into a week into our tenancy the prious tennant called round to see if any post had been dropped in before they re-directed it. they were very friendly and asked us how were the new carpets. Now we didnt have new carpets, the previous stained carpets were still in place and we were told they would change after
