Manager Stephanie and owner Deborah understand the anxieties and concerns that parents/carers have about leaving young children in the care of others, so aim to ensure that all of the children at Little Petals feel as safe and happy as they would do at home. We strongly believe that all children are exciting, intelligent, independent thinkers who all need the opportunity to question the world around them.

Services
Little Petals is a family run setting and is run by our lovely Manager Stephanie Doyle and Deputy Manager Holly Macdonald. At Little Petals we are committed to catering for all your children's needs. We fully understand the anxieties that parents face trying to juggle work at the same time as spending time with your children, as well as the concerns you may feel at leaving your little one for the first time.
Our nursery is based around 3 separate rooms which means children are able to develop at their own pace and can move onto a more challenging environment when the time is right. This is our twinkly grotto room which young babies simply love. It feels cosy, warm and safe and allows the children to feel safe when they are not able to move by themselves yet, and gives them the opportunity to begin to roll, crawl and walk when they feel ready.
Taking care of children is a great responsibility and here at Little Petals, staff members are chosen for their ability to provide the best care for your child based on the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage. Staff are appointed following a vigorous and careful selection process in accordance with Ofsted requirements and are subjected to enhanced checks by the Data Barring System (DBS) before joining our team.
Starting school is an important milestone for every child and their parents. At Little Petals we believe that when children leave our nursery to embark on the next chapter in their lives we must do all we can to support and celebrate this transition, ensuring the children are well prepared for the next stage in their learning.
Here at Little Petals Day Nursery we offer a variety of sessions to accommodate all children from the ages of 4 months to 8 years.
