Paul has taught all 3 of my children and he is an excellent instructor. He is calm and patient and goes at the pace of learning that suits each individual. He gives confidence to the youngsters as they take on each new challenge with learning to drive. I certainly feel comfortable being driven by all 3. I would highly recommend

Paul has taught my three boys to drive, he is extremely patient and calm. Paul follows a strict routine covering the Learning to drive course in detail. Each lesson the boys were told which part of the course they would be covering in that lesson and why. Paul ensures they were completely ready to take the test and so improving their chances of passing first time. Which I am pleased to say they all did. Thanks Paul totally recommend him

Paul is the best you can find. I had the best experience of learning with him.
He has lots of patience, very friendly and motivates you to keep doing better. He will make sure you are ready for the big day. It is purely because of him I could pass the test the first time itself. He make sure you go through most of the possible test routes, which boots your confidence alot. I would highly recommend Paul to anyone looking to learn driving.

I was with a previous instructor for twenty hours and I was struggling so much with driving, I wanted to just give up.
Then I moved over to Paul at On the Road and it was such a massive shift. Paul was friendly and encouraging but still able to teach really effectively and sort out all the parts of my driving that were lacking.
You can tell that he's a well-experienced teacher - not some mediocre driver who thinks they can teach driving just because they can drive. He taught me in a way that worked specifically for me and got me the pass that I needed

At almost 34 years of age and with numerous previous attempts at driving behind me I was starting to think that driving was never going to happen for me. Paul was fantastic! He is an amazing instructor and has a great way of breaking things down and simplifying everything. I found Paul to be relaxed and calming and if it were not for him I’m not sure I would have ever passed my test! Thanks Paul! 5 stars.
