Our experienced, professional driving instructors Tim and Lee offer manual driving lessons in Romford, Colchester and surrounding areas. We are a small, friendly, family run driving school who welcomes people of all abilities. We have been established for more than 30 years providing competitively priced manual driving lessons. All our instructors are fully qualified DVSA approved and are dedicated to developing the knowledge, confidence and ability to make our learners safe on the road.

I have been a qualified DVSA approved driving instructor since 2006 teaching manual lessons. I get a great deal of job satisfaction from teaching people to drive, whether it is a complete novice or a qualified driver having refresher lessons. To be able to help people learn a new skill that can offer, independence and job opportunities is very rewarding.
If you do not have a current full or provisional license you can obtain one from www.dvla.gov.uk or by completing the D1 form from your local post office. You must be able to read a car number plate from 20 metres if you need glasses or contact lenses to read the number plate, that is fine. If you would like more details on cost of lessons then please contact either our Colchester or Romford instructors.
2. Tell me where you'd find the information for the recommended tyre pressures for this car and how tyre pressures should be checked. Manufacturer's guide, use a reliable pressure gauge, check and adjust pressures when tyres are cold, don't forget spare tyre, remember to refit valve caps. 3. Tell me how you make sure your head restraint is correctly adjusted so it provides the best protection in the event of a crash.

I passed my test yesterday (it was my 7th time) but my FIRST time with MSOM. I have gone through several instructors and I wish I found Brian all those years ago because he is by far the best by a MILE!!! He has a wonderful manner which is really good for anxious drivers like myself. I had little confidence and he helped me get over so many challenges. He is extremely professional and I can't help but recommend him enough. Honestly, if you want a great instructor who can deliver - go with MSOM. Thank you Brian for all your help!!! Jody :)

I passed first time with Brian as my instructor. Extremely patient and explains everything soo well, having had previous instructors I have to say Brian is the best! I would 100% recommend Brian, especially if you are having trouble finding a great instructor. Also he will never cancel on you or never be late, always on time and really polite.
