Our experienced and specialist child care team understand that when social workers become involved with your family, it can be a scary, confusing and overwhelming time. Our team will guide you through the process, providing advice to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved.

Anthony Forde, Holly McCarthy and Charlotte Guest are all on the Law Society's Children Law panel, which entitles them to represent children as well as adults in all types of family proceedings. When social services are very concerned about the welfare of a child, the social worker may wish to consider taking the case to Court so they can make Court Orders to protect the child.
A Lasting Power of Attorney is a document which lasts in your lifetime. It gives another individual the legal authority to look after specific aspects of your financial affairs or your health and welfare when you are not in a position to do so, for instance should you lose capacity.

Lasting Powers of Attorney are not just for the elderly as mental and physical incapacity can hit at any time and we recommend planning ahead to ease the potential burden on loved ones.
If you do not have a Will in place your estate will be governed by the rules of intestacy which could mean that your assets will not be passed on to people you would choose and your beneficiaries may end up paying more in Inheritance Tax. Nobody likes the thought of making a Will but are you confident that in the absence of a Will your property and personal effects will pass to your intended beneficiaries.

I had Holly McCarthy representing me, who was honest, helpful, professional and very good at dealing with my case. There were times when I didn’t always want to hear some home truths, but never once did she ever lose her professionalism. She and the company have helped me a great deal and I shall always be grateful. Thank you Holly and keep up your amazing work :)

Great result! I had given up with expecting a result for my daughter in a custody case. This was due to the narcissism shown from a very intransigent ex-boyfriend. The case was heard yesterday and Charlotte, Olivia and Samara with the Team from Campbell Hooper came up with a excellent and fair settlement for me daughter and granddaughter. This wasn't easy as I heard that their Team were particularly tough. Many thanks, we would not be celebrating without you, trust me...…...

Hi Charlotte, Olivia (and Samara)
I just wanted to say a big thank you from myself and the wider family, for an unexpected and productive day in court, along with your support in all proceedings over the last year.
Charlotte and Olivia - your support has been incredible on this long journey, painful at times but you’ve always been very assuring and offered the right advice at the right time.
My HC appointed barrister, Samara - was also truly amazing today, child focused, fully briefed and prepared, also a good few steps ahead of my thinking all day! (This happens rarely 🙃) am immediate

We would like to express our gratitude for Holly MCCarthy who recently represented us during our complicated Court Hearings. Never once did Holly make us feel like a client as she showed us so much compassion in what has been a very emotional journey along with explaining absolutely everything in terms so that we could understand legal talk. There have been many hurdles placed in front of us and Holly was on top of every single one of them, she also made sure she was available for every single Court Hearing so that we always had the continuity along with she often sent us paperwork late at night

Awful service, firstly I only came for an appointment to talk about setting up a will never committed to doing one at that moment in time I did make that very clear but 2 weeks later I received a drafted will and a bill to go with it! Lots of confusion but ended up paying over £240 for this drafted will. I then needed changes to be made and the lady said she needs to speak to her supervisor to find out if they can make these tiny changes with out it costing more, I never heard back. I went on and had my baby who ended up with suspected meningitis at 2 months old so as you can imagine my mind wasn’t

Avoid these unless you basically need a Social Worker that has studied law albeit briefly their skills lie in the acquisition of legal aid regardless of the child safety or well being.
