Worked here once upon a time in my very first kitchen position. It has lots of facilities and great food. One of Torquays oldest buildings I believe. Great views of Thatcher rock, Meadfoot Beach and across the ocean. It has an out door and indoor pool. Offers BBQ s al fresco during the summer months also. Lots of offroad parking and also offers a time share system should you wish to .

Bathroom smelt of sewage. Mattresses were very poor quality, with the springs clunking when you moved. Also damp patches on the ceiling. Indoor pool was ok, and the sauna was a total waste of time. Food in the restaurant was terrible, we paid £15 for what looked like a frozen pizza. But the breakfast was ok. That was the first and last time I go there!

Lovely staff and service and good breakfast however the lift is out of use so alot of the elderly struggled which isn't good. The hotel itself is quite run down compared to how it used to be.not enough seating in the bar area. Only three tables so only space for six people. It might be a small detail but when I asked for an Irish coffee the staff had no idea what I was talking about.not the staffs fault just lack of training. Rooms however Comfortable and clean.
