Services
At Bangor Physiotherapy we thieve on hand's on techniques in both the diagnosis and treatment of many conditions and patients benefit. The techniques used depends on the type of injury and the most effective treatment. We use manual therapy techniques in conjunction with other treatment modalities such as electrotherapy, acupuncture, specific exercises / rehabilitation programmes and self-management advice.
At Bangor Physio we run physio led Pilates taken by qualified physiotherapists trained by APPI (Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute). Our classes are small, flexible, fun and suitable for most abilities.
Clinical Pilates is a form of physical exercise that focuses on posture, core stability, balance, control, strength, flexibility, and breathing and is used in conjunction with physiotherapy as a means of treating a variety of injuries, particularly those of the neck and back. These are great classes for improving strength and function following back injury and help prevent further injury and / or chronic conditions from developing.

I rang Bangor Physio yesterday on the off chance I could get an emergency appointment. I suffer from Fibromyalgia and was experiencing crippling back pain and unable to move about easily. I was offered an appointment with Tory and today I have much more freedom of movement . I'm still in a bit of pain but at least I can move around and do gentle stretching to help myself recover.
Tory and the team at Bangor Physio were very sympathetic to my issue and I can't recommend them enough for the important and essential service they provide. I can actually function this morning like a normal human being

What great physio staff at this business. I have been attending Susan and Alice for approximately 12 years on and off, nothing too much trouble for them.
First class advice, all staff very friendly, offered appointments easily compared to seeing other professionals, usually have to wait three weeks for a GP appointment.
Our whole family have had need to use this practice.
Keep up the good work.

I recently visited here to get some treatment as I hurt my foot by increasing my exercise regime too much (long-distance running and football) and not resting enough. I just came over from Manchester, England to visit my parents for a short holiday and figured I could use my time to visit a physiotherapist.
David was excellent - friendly, reassuring and knowledgeable. My whole experience was really great and I was treated, given some key advice for how to reduce the possibility of injury down the road, and I was shown some exercises which I have been doing at home since my visit. It's been a couple

Susie has sorted me out on many occasions, always fitting me in if I'm in a bad way. She's always uptodate with the most recent treatments and procedures, she has a great knowledge of her profession. Definitely recommend this practice A+

I have been going to Bangor Physiotherapy regularly for the last number of years, following a serious knee injury and would never go anywhere else. This practice has great staff and a friendly atmosphere. Susie has been brilliant pre, post and with rehabilitation of my surgical procedure. The best in the business!!

Brilliant physiotherapists. Susan has got me back on my feet after a nasty injury and surgery. Both her and Alice are great, so knowledgeable and they really listen to you and use their expertise and experience to get you functioning and on the mend as quickly as possible. I wouldn't go anywhere else.
