I used DA Lindsay & Sons on the advice of a neighbour who had used them for both her beloved Dad and brother. I wanted a direct cremation and they were happy to oblige. Holly was a wonderful, compassionate person to deal with and nothing was too much trouble. I didn't want to go into their premises to fetch my husband's ashes so they were delivered to me which I really appreciated. My husband's cremation was complicated because it involved an inquest but Holly kept me informed every step of the way. Got a church funeral for my mother then ashes where sent to Thailand. Everything was perfect and organised very well . Highly recommend. Price was very good also I phone a lot of funeral directors this was by far the best . Thank you so much 🙏🙏

We got an amazing tailored funeral for my late cousin. David and Holly were so sensitive and respectful at this the most difficult of times, listened so carefully to our requirements and on the day everything went like clockwork. They were always upfront about pricing and it was very reasonable considering we asked them to hold the commemoration on a Sunday and allow religious officials to hold the service and for many from my community to attend. Thanks so much all of you for a great service :) Highly recommended.

The service provided through the whole process was fantastic. Dad and I sat down with David and he walked us through the whole process, from collection of Mum's body from the hospital to the service and cremation. He was able to quickly source a bagpiper for the day which was something we wanted as a family.
They did a great job of preparing mum when we went to visit in the funeral parlour. On the day of the funeral, everything ran smoothly and was very professional.
David also guided us through the different options for Mum's ashes, finding a solution that works well for us as we plan to scatter

I have nothing but praise for the excellent service given to me by D.A.Lindsay & Son, Top class service and would definitely recommend. Holly is an absolute credit to the company. From my initial enquiry about their services to the day of the funeral and beyond Holly has been so caring and professional every stop of the way. She dealt with every call and email quickly and efficiently and eliminated any fears I had. She is very thorough and always made sure I was happy with the details.

I received an outstanding service with regard to the funeral arrangements of my late husband during the COVID 19 pandemic. David and his team were sensitive to our needs and through his contacts we obtained the services of a priest who conducted the service. They also conducted a procession along my street. Thank you for giving my husband a good send off.

We had no idea how to organise a funeral.
I called David Lyndsay when my Father was on his death bed, he told me what to expect, where to go in the hospital, forms I would need.
After my Fathers passing we made a prompt appointment to meet and arrange the funeral. We set out our budget and said exactly what our Dad wanted and they dealt with it all. I left there feeling a weight had been lifted. They arranged the Celebrant (who was amazing) the Florist (beautiful) and were available promptly every time I had a question.
All the thinking and stress were taken from us.

Where can I start, but to say from start to finish David was amazing.
From the moment I spoke to David on the phone I knew he was the right person, he was the third phone call I had that morning and instantly I warmed to his soft welcoming tone.
When we all met him together it was a stress free and supportive experience and I was so relieved and pleased to see that David was the actual funeral director on the day of Ian's funeral. His drivers were lovely too and very courteous and with a warm feeling.
David, Kim & Sue were so respectful of our dear Ian R.I.P, all the time

After the difficult time my Dad had in hospital I was desperate to find a funeral directors that would treat my dad with the dignity and respect he deserved. David has a calm, caring and very professional approach and I knew immediately he would have been the man my dad would have chosen to see him through this final part of his journey.
