John Nodes Funeral Services in North Kensington is situated on Ladbroke Grove. It has always had a key place in the community as it used to be a haberdashery shop before housing our friendly funeral home. Located near Portobello Road, Notting Hill and Kensal Rise in West London, we are within easy reach of the West London Crematorium.

John Nodes managed the funeral arrangements for my dad who passed away just before Christmas. Undertaking this task is challenging at the best of times, but even more so in the middle of a pandemic. We were very impressed with the professionalism, care and attention to detail. Family members able to attend the funeral and burial were able to pay their last respects in a Covid-safe environment. I would also like to add my thanks to Father Philip Corbett at All Saints Notting Hill who worked closely with staff at John Nodes to make the day a special one for the family.

The service provided by the staff at John Nodes was exceptional. My uncle died recently and the nursing home recommended this funeral service. Right from the first meeting with Robin, we were taken through what we needed to do, in a very calm, professional manner. Robin and Hayley couldn’t have been more helpful, and the whole process went very smoothly, without any problems.
They were kind, sympathetic and a joy to work with, and we are very grateful that my Uncle had a perfect funeral.

I went to John Nodes on Ladbroke Grove after the death of my dad.
Without making a prior appointment I was met by a lovely caring person who was both professional and compassionate and that was Hayley.

I just can’t thank Hayley and Robin enough for their support after the death of my dear mum. Also Shane and everyone else behind the scenes. From the moment I met Hayley she came across as professional, compassionate and caring. Very well versed in her role and nothing was too much trouble. Robin’s presence during my mother’s funeral was seamless. Everything was just beautiful from beginning to end.
