Services
Each design is unique to you so I cannot give prices without seeing you for a consultation. Prices cannot be given from an email enquiry only. Have your own unwanted jewellery re-modelled into a new design using your own stones and gold/platinum. A piece of jewellery unique to you will be designed and made with your input on design and our specialist service creating a one off item.

I needed an engagement ring made for my partner and I wanted something specific and to our needs. Julie not only provided a courteous and professional service, but did so with a wonderful friendly manner and gave me insight into the process at each step of the way.
There are 2 types of 18ct white gold. I use the one that is high in Palladium it is white all the way through and does not need rhodium plating. Other 18ct white gold with different alloys is slightly yellowy and needs to be rhodium plated. This will wear off after a few months and needs to be rhodium plated again.

Julie made a huge effort in helping with our unusual request of an engraved compass for our son's 18th birthday. It it a marvellous piece with a beautiful engraving of the view from his bedroom as well as from the camp in India where he spent his sixth form trip. I decided to go with a custom design for an engagement ring. I don't know much about jewellery but Julie was really great at listening to my ideas and helping translate them into what became the final design. She even created a mockup in order to ensure that I would be happy with design before she started to make the finished ring.

Julie made an excellent job of resetting my diamond (diamond fell out of the original ring from another jewellers, who certainly won’t be getting a glowing review like this one!) Julie was fantastic and put me completely at ease that my new setting would be secure. She is very knowledgable and didn’t change the overall look of my engagement ring at all when resetting. Julie has worked on many pieces for me over the years, including a commission for a very high value item, various repairs on items of sentimental value and also some smaller pieces. Her work is wonderful and her prices are extremely reasonable. Julie is also completely trustworthy and very reliable - this is particularly important when entrusting someone with much-loved pieces of jewellery! She is both highly creative and a lovely person to work with - I cannot recommend Julie highly enough.

I was looking for something a bit different for a wedding ring, without a clear idea of what I wanted or whether it was possible with my budget. From the moment I walked through the door at Julie's workshop I was made to feel very welcome. She helped me understand what I was looking for as we spent time looking at various options and sketching out designs.
She was able to come up with a beautiful design, within my budget and I'm so pleased with the result! She even made the rose-gold herself, so it's completely unique.
