Great place! The restaurant had a nice romantic vibe. We were served by the best hostess/waitress Oxana. Warm, friendly and welcoming service with a great professional approach to the customers, Oxana made our night an incredible experience. The food was great, the sea food platter and the home made fish soup were amazing. Prices were reasonable, the food was fresh. Thank you! We will be back again.

This is our favourite fish restaurant in Brighton. There are times we drive to Brighton just to eat here. Before the pandemic we used to come here many times.
Lovely food. The Dover sole was excellent. And I had the dressed crab and it was delicious. I also ate half a dozen oysters and they were lovely especially with the onion vinegar.
I tried the hummus and pita bread for the first time. The hummus was top notch. The pita bread was decent at best.
We will surely return.

I have been to this restaurant over dozen of times.
It use to be my favourite.
However, it is under new ownership. Probably people next door owns it now.
Service is very very poor. It took more then an hour to be served. Order was lost, so we have to give order again.
Wrong order was served. When asked about it, we were told that now we need to pay extra to get original order.
They did not asked for which fish we wanted either.
Waiter/ cashier was a bit odd. Tried to make odd jokes. I had to go to the till to pay as no one was bringing us the bill. The waiter asked if I really want to pay

On one website it was advertised as the best fish and chips in town.
The service was nice, the food was good for the price. The decoration inside could be improved but you have the seaview, which is nice (at least when the weather is not rainy and foggy). So yes, it's a good place to eat, especially if you're with your family. But not sure if it's the best fish and chips in town...

Given the good ratings, we were somewhat disappointed by our experience. Waiting staff were rather distracted and took a long time to notice us given how quiet the business was. Having shown me, my wife and toddler daughter to a table with two seats, I had to ask for a third seat and he didn't think to offer us the high chair which it turned out they had.
Wanting some seaside fish and chips, we ordered the kids fish and chips, a haddock and chips, and the mixed seafood platter with two teas.
The fried fish was cooked perfectly well and was a good size but the chips appeared to have been freshly
