We are a small, extremely friendly community based setting that welcomes children from both in and out of our catchment area. Our home is purpose built with a large indoor space and beautiful secure outdoor areas. We are in an idyllic setting adjoining Elsworth Primary School. We pride ourselves in the care of our children. Services
Elsworth villagers are invited to enter the Elsworth Festive Trail Competition 2020. To enter: pay for your entrance form at the village shop then email to register (full details on the entry form). Small prize for everyone who enters and a hamper for the winner! Judging will be based on creativity, execution and smile factor so a well crafted window display can beat an off the shelf illumination.
We are very proud of our village Pre-School and we work hard to ensure our children enjoy a safe, nurturing home from home environment where they have freedom and safety. We promote the characteristics of effective learning as we strongly believe they are the basis for our children to become life long learners with engagement, critical thinking, motivation and independence.
Our staff are fully qualified Early Years practitioners with a range of experience. They are friendly, supportive and will give your child the best start to their education. Working closely with parents they provide a happy, safe and secure environment for your child, we don't use agency staff. The Pre-School is operated by a volunteer committee which employs the staff.
We don't use agency staff at Elsworth Pre-School but we are looking for lovely people to join our bank staff of relief workers to assist when staff cover is needed and get to know the setting and children. Purpose of the job: To assist Elsworth Pre-School's qualified team when an additional staff member is needed for ratios or to cover for staff absence, under the direction of the manager.
We can take children from two years at our setting. We would encourage you to come along and have a visit and chat with the staff to see how we can support your child to begin their transition to starting Pre-School. We are also able to take funded two's. Our sessions are 16.50 per three hour session for 3-4 year olds.
