There is good access for the disabled to all of our consultation rooms. A designated parking bay is adjacent to the surgery entrance and the surgery has a ramp and. NHS England require that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below.
Our new opening time for askmyGP is 8am. Subject to appointment availability, we may have to turn off access to askmyGP at different times until further notice. Whilst we encourage our patients to come to the surgery, where we have the proper equipment and facilities available, we do appreciate this is not always possible.

Any request for access to notes by a patient, patient's representative or outside body will be dealt with. Most problems can be sorted out quickly and easily, often at the time they arise with the person concerned and this may be the approach you try first.
Our patient participant group is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the life of Central Surgery. We welcome people of all ages, backgrounds and views. We believe that everyone has. To help us improve our services please tell us a little more about your last visit to the surgery. We welcome and appreciate any views or suggestions you may have regarding any aspect of our service, including our website.

Surgery is closed more often than it is open. If you need to talk to a GP urgently there are much better options in Oadby. The 'Ask My Gp' service is open for around 2 minutes and if you get online at 8:01qm youre out of luck as by then no one will answer the phone either. To add to this approximately 2 months ago I was forced to wait outside for 20 minutes in the cold to be given a letter, which was already printed. If you're looking to join look elsewhere.

The performance of this GP has massively dropped, even below its performance during the pandemic peak. Everything used to be done on time, but now we have to chase for every little thing, even normal repeat prescriptions. Now they have stopped "AskmyGP" too in most days, and the phone lines are always busy, so it's impossible to get treatment now!

It is now impossible to contact this surgery by telephone which is extremely frustrating for my 100 year old mother who is still capable of handling her own affairs if someone would actually pick up the telephone when she rings. She obviously has no internet access so invariably after many frustrating attempted calls made by her I have to intervene and take control on her behalf which is hardly enabling her to continue with the independence she desires and is capable of.
She worries that if she actually needed to speak with a doctor or make an appointment it would be impossible and her only option

I don't really write reviews however I think I really need to share my experience. I injured my achilees tendon and the doctor told me to wait 6 weeks for an ultrasound. This made me think it was not to serious of an injury and I was told nothing further not even to stop bearing weight or wear a boot. My pain become more unbearable and I admitted myself to A and E. I was booked for emergency surgery straight away. I am so ashamed of the doctors at Central surgery and how they didn't refer me earlier for something so serious. Because of this I am still dealing with post surgery complications all

This has now gotta be one of the worst doctors around, I understand the nhs is under pressure but when other people are getting appointments and phone calls across oadby and wigston I find it extremely frustrating when you phone central surgery to be fobbed off every single time you ring that they don't have any phone call appointments or appointments for the day and it's the same every day. Its absolutely shocking I can't wait to get in at a different doctors and get out of this so called doctors surgery. I would literally give this place zero stars if it was a option.

Have not been seen by, or spoken to, a GP in the last 2 years. After lockdown, this surgery has still maintained all previous social distance measures, so everything has more or less, moved to online via the dreadful AskmyGP app, or through the phone. However, can you get any success with either? NO! If the phone lines aren't constantly engaged, then you have to put up with remaining on hold for an eternity, only to be spoken to by the most unfriendly, brash and unprofessional receptionists known to mankind. They then demand to know why exactly you called (just in case you spent the last few hours

Been trying to contact the Central surgery for weeks. Can't get through on the phone, just a constant "engaged tone" phone is off the hook. 75 failed attempts in 2 days.
The online "askmyGP" is "currently not taking online requests". So I have not seen a GP for 18 months, I have managed to get a phone call twice in the 18 month period.
Lots of GP practices are getting back to normal , but not this surgery.
BBC news did a report 3 or 4 months ago stating that GP practices can't use the "COVID-19 excuse" anymore. No point complaining because the complaints process will take months with no action

Recently this surgery has totally gone down. On 7/9 and 8/9 ask my GP was not available at all due to staff sickness . I tried to ring many times ,either engaged and when it did ring in the afternoon finally much to my surprise , the answer machine message kept on repeating itself so could not get in touch. This same problem has been there for some time now which I did complain about previously but nothing has been done . So it is not possible to reach by phone . On 9/9 ask my GP is working and expected call back from Dr Ayub was 9.30 but no call was received. At the moment there is no GP service

I have been very nauseous and cannot eat or drink much for 2 weeks. I was told over the phone by a male GP that I have to come in before my blood test. He said I could come out of hours and I asked if the reception would know/allow it. He said yes. I was promptly not allowed in and told it would be brought up with management. I then went to a blood test and was stuck 2 times to no avail. I was told I'm too dehydrated - of course I am sherlock, that's the problem! Rescheduled for today and it was cancelled until Monday because the nurse is sick. They are incompetent. Only the receptionists have
