Beaumont Lodge Medical Practice
See our Patient Group section for an introduction to our Patient Participation Group, annual reports and how to join. In order for us to improve the services we offer, you may be asked after each appointment with the practice to complete our questionnaire. There are just two questions which will only take a few moments of your time.

Aimed at adults in England aged 40 to 74, it checks your vascular or circulatory health and works out your risk of developing some of the most disabling - but preventable - illnesses. If you want to be healthier, it's a lot easier changing one thing at a time. Change 4 Life can give you all the support, tips and ideas that you need to change your life.
Services
We want you to be pro-active about taking care and staying in good health, so we've added the links for Live Well and Wellbeing sections too, so please do check them out, get inspired and share with others! When the practice is closed and you feel you need urgent medical advice or help that is not an emergency call 111.
Appointments will be available with either a GP, Nurse, HCA or Social Prescriber (subject to change). Please telephone your usual surgery to book an appointment. Help you to access the correct local urgent health care service if you need urgent care, at any time. You can call 111 when you need medical help fast but it's not a 999 emergency.
If you have a high temperature, cough, shortness of breath or recently returned from affected countries, please stay indoors and contact NHS 111. Please DO NOT come to the Surgery. The Surgery operates an advanced access appointments system, this means you can book an appointment within 24/48 hours or in advance subject to availability.
Please use the right hand side of your last prescription when ordering your next one, if you do not have this, please put your prescription in writing and hand it to the receptionist. If you want your prescription posting please supply a stamped address envelope or if you require it to go to the chemist, please write this clearly.
The Patient Online programme includes offering patients access to their detailed coded records online. However there are exceptions to this. GP practices will have a policy in place and ask you to apply for access to your detailed coded record and the practice will carry out some checks before granting access.

Staff are very rude I've never experienced anything like them anywhere else.
Instead I had to go to walking center.

Some of the doctors are amazing but to get an appointment its like finding a needle in haystack!!! Whenever I've needed an appointment I ring from 8am i probably need to ring them like 80/90 times !!! In every occasion, literally by the second!!! How is it possible not to get through to them and when you do, theyre booked!!! How?
Need a better system maybe a queuing system would be better ?!

As the previous review stated, avoid this practice. Can't even get the medication my consultant said to ask for to reduce bleeding during major surgery. You're wasting a consultants time getting them to write a letter to basically prescribe the pill. Ridiculous.
