Machrie Community Hall Within Machrie Golf Club
Situated on the beautiful west coast of the Isle of Arran, this delightful 9 hole course is excellent for the casual golfer and beginners. Though can be quite challenging for the more serious golfers. There is a tearoom serving snacks and light lunches (takeaway only). No need to book tee off times. Machrie Bay golf green fees - just to let people know, they can only pay cash for golf green fees, thanks.

Played here many times over the years during holiday visits to the island. Unfortunately the tea room was closed, but it is mid October, apart from that I enjoyed the round even though it was breezy. It’s a fun wee nine holer.

Really nice place for a coffee stop when cycling on the Isle of Arran. I had a nice coffee and a fantastic bacon roll.

The food was good but served in takeaway boxes. We were allowed to sit at a table though. Curtailed by covid.

Beautiful scenery and if you have nothing else, have the lemon and blueberry cake.
I waited all lockdown for a piece of that!!!

Very disappointed, it's losted that vibe and warmness it use to have. Loved it better under the old ownership of bunties. Owner was amazing and so welcoming,

Excellent tea room. Very friendly staff. Really great coffee and a great selection of scones and cakes at sensible prices. Try the ice creams too..very generous and delicious!

We had a nice tea and a large scone (a plain and a fruit one) watching seagulls fighting against the wind. The scones were light and tasty, with a thin bottom crust and still lukewarm from coming out of the oven.
Other pastries looked good too.
The tea room is simply decorated but the staff is friendly.
Had the weather been better we would have played a round of golf (they have sets of clubs for rent)...

I really liked this tea room - it's charming and quaint, and nicely decorated. We visited for lunch and when we first arrived, were the only customers but that quickly changed as the place filled up with locals, golfers, bike riders and walkers.

The menu is pretty big (physically - it's a massive board) and has sandwiches and baked potatoes on it. I ended up going for the chicken sandwich even though I actually really just wanted a bolognaise baked potato but that was in the kids section and I was too embarrassed to try to order it. The sandwich was lovely - you could choose your
