Services
Mark Bridgeman was born and brought up on the Fallodon Estate, farming Brunton with his father and then bringing his young family to live here in 2006. Seven years later Mark and Lucia renovated the old stone farm buildings from the 1800s, and removed the cattle sheds from the 1970s and created the first two cottages, Mill Race and Brunton Burn.

Stayed in Brunton Burn having previously stayed in Mill Race Cottage. The cottage is extremely well equipped and is maintained to a very high standard. There is a welcome pack of wine, milk bread and fruit to kelp you settle in. The location is very quiet but is in easy reach of Bamburgh, Alnwick, Berwick on Tweed and Lindisfarne. During our stay we caught the brunt of Storm Arwen which devastated the North East coast and Scotland but although the cottage was not damaged at all we did suffer the power cuts along with thousands of other properties in the north east. Fortunately there is a log burner

A really beautiful cottage in a very peaceful setting. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped with excellent beds, bedding, bathrooms and kitchen. The living space was so relaxing and spacious with a wonderful view of a waterfall and stream. After a LOT of rain, it was a torrent, which was really interesting to watch too!
The cottage is warm and cosy but also airy thanks to the huge opening patio door onto the decking. When it was pouring down we felt really snug but when it stopped it was lovely to get outside and enjoy the surroundings.
The location is great too - just a few minutes

This is an absolute gem of a holiday home! We stayed in Millrace cottage for a week and we could not have asked for more.
It’s a beautiful place, decorated and furnished to an incredibly high standard. They have thought of everything a guest could possibly want or need - and the welcome hamper is a very nice and generous touch.
The location is quiet and tranquil, with the soothing sound of the river always in the background. Views out across the fields to the sea.
The surrounding area is spectacular - all the ingredients for a perfect family holiday. A huge thank you to the owners/managers
