Edward James Jewellery was established in 1988 by Jewellery Design graduates James and Jayne Brown. Together with their team of specialists, the company concentrate on providing customers with ever changing ranges of exciting and unusual design led collections of Diamond and Gem-set jewellery, set in Platinum, Palladium, 18ct carat yellow and white gold, and silver.
If you can't find what you are looking for, or want to commission a special piece, we offer a very popular in-house bespoke design service. Remodelling unworn or a group of inherited items into new designs is another popular and very economic way to completely revitalise your jewellery. In either case you can take part in the design process, which customers tell us they thoroughly enjoy.
Enquiries we carry an extensive stock of beautiful jewellery in a range of precious metals to suit the most discerning customer, but in the event we don't have what you are seeking in our showroom, we will endeavour to source it from our extensive list of contacts. Made to Order we can make up many of our stock pieces in your choice of precious metal set with other diamond sizes and gemstone combinations.
We recognise the purchase of the diamond is an important emotional occasion, and believe in making it special for you. In order to help you make the correct choice we freely offer our experience and expertise so you fully understand all the individual factors which combine to affect both the appearance and cost.
This is a question we are asked every day and as the three options available are all visually quite similar - it can be confusing until we explain the merits and properties of each precious metal, and also the different costs involved. Platinum is the ideal choice as this beautiful metal is the whitest and strongest.

Cannot thank these guys enough for the repair and re-size completed on both my wedding and engagement ring.

James took lots of time to create a beautiful re-design of my engagement ring, sourcing several sets of additional stones to choose from and producing 3D drawings of design ideas. I am absolutely delighted with the finished ring, the design and skilled workmanship is first class. James is very enthusiastic about his work and I felt completely happy to trust him with my treasured ring.

Fantastic service yet again from Edward James Jewellery. I left a ring to be resized just before lock down. I was disappointed thinking I would not get it back for sometime because of lock down but no. I had a call from James to say the work had been completed and would I like him to deliver to my home. I was delighted, great service from James. He helped design and make my engagement ring and a ruby ring for my Mum. They still look beautiful.

I strongly recommend Edward James Jewellery. I needed a bespoke wedding ring designed to fit with my unusually shaped engagement ring. From the very first enquiry, James was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He put together a range of designs, and carefully talked me through the options. The finished ring surpassed my expectations. It fits perfectly with my engagement ring, and the design complements it beautifully. Highly recommend. We live locally to this jewelers and have often seen lovely jewellery in the shop window. One ring particularly caught our eye when we were on the hunt for an engagement ring. We spoke with David and he offered expert advice and guidance and a fantastic service. About 3 months later we went back to talk about a wedding ring. After much careful thought, I decided to ask Edward James to re purpose my wedding ring along with my Mother's and Godmother's. With their help, I decided to have a platinum band and a diamond added (my first diamond). This was to celebrate my 30th wedding anniversary, and I bought my original ring from Edward James too.
