At Head Start Day Nurseries, our goal is to encourage independence through educational activities that are fun and stimulating. It's a big, exciting world out there and we want our children to leave for their next steps in life equipped for the journey. As a quality childcare provider, we are required to deliver an educational curriculum that meets the government standard of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage).
This ensures each child understands things like numbers, letters, social skills and to also reach specific learning goals ahead of school. We cover the 7 areas of learning in our classrooms and through our curriculum on a daily basis. However, we want children to arrive at school with much more than that.

Services
Head Start Day Nurseries are a family of three North London based day nurseries and pre-schools, founded on over 25 years of experience in caring for babies and children. Each nursery offers the highest quality, professional childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years old. The umbrella group that all of our day nurseries sit under is Family First Pre-School Ltd.

OFSTED (Offices for Standards in Education) and the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage Framework). OFSTED are the regulatory body for schools and childcare providers. They set out the education framework and then conduct inspections to ensure each provider meets the required standards. An OFSTED inspection can take place at any time and without notice.
