Excellent value for money. Food buffet style and excellent choice. Hotel is having extensive refurbishment, but this did not deter from experience at hotel. Worth paying extra £5 per night for refurbished room. Entertainment excellent. Also fabulous sports bar. Hotel Central for all shopping needs and lovely seafront.

Booked a room for the Elvis event this year 2021 but had to cancel due to my wife having lupus no Immune system so didn’t want to risk COVID-19. so we asked if we could transfer our booking to next year , we didn’t want a refund (£100) just a transfer but they said NO we couldn’t do that , they are such a caring hotel NOT . I would have given them no stars but it wouldn’t go that low

1* is putting it nicely. Stay away at all costs. The rooms are dated and dirty. The staff are very unfriendly. Parking costs a fortune (you'll be lucky to find a space). Food was very poor. Very poor bathroom facilities (you can choose between burning yourself or freezing in the shower). Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! The premier Inn down the road looked much better! And it's cheaper too! 5* prices for Hostel accommodation at the Riviera Hotel. If you do decide to stay here, sleep on the floor! I can promise you it will be much better than their mattresses.
