Services
Non-NHS Examinations -Medical examinations for certain purposes are not covered by the NHS. These need special appointments for up to half an hour and a fee is payable. This relates to matters such as cancellation of holiday, fitness to travel, medicals for driving, pre-employment, check ups, etc. Self Help Groups -Information regarding Self Help Groups is available on request from the Practice Manager.

The reception is bad, the treatment is not good. The staff do not answer the phone. There are some things that are not presented to the doctor. Bad personal behavior of the staff. It's seem since COVID-19 this GP surgery has abandoned it's patients, the phone rings, gives usual repeated message but even first in the queue you'll wait forever, no online appointments or help. I have along term illness and disability means I need at least some help especially when they keep taking medication of my repeat prescriptions, eventually had to leave a message to my specialist at the hospital. There's seems to be a push for private health care on their site too, one charges 99p a minute per phone call, it seems privatisation via the backdoor to me, not happy and will write to my MP

They dont pick up the phone till 9:20 n then say there is no appointment left. I really need my sickness medicine i cant go hospital bec of corona with 2 small kids. I been having that medicine since 10 years but they want me to make appointment n then they dont give appointment this is the worst surgery in 15 years i have never seen any surgery this careless n cruel since dr kaleem is gone its been worst then ever only arona is nice everyone else is like we r demanding there kidney or something so rude.

If you're new to the area or looking to change surgeries, I would NOT recommend this surgery. The staff are unwelcoming, stroppy and always grumpy. It's a mission to book appointments and everything is a big ask.
I've never seen the receptionist smile. The staff need to buckle down, show more empathy and compassion and not make it appear like everything is a chore. Be kind!
They young man in the reception team is the only saving grace.

Awful place with the rudest, most unhelpful reception staff I've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. I get the impression they don't want any more patients or appointments as they're already overstretched, but that's simply no excuse for providing such a poor service to the public. I've since signed up to another local surgery who are excellent - so much more helpful, efficient and on the ball. Don't bother with this surgery as they simply don't give a toss about you or your health.

Extremely rude and unprofessional staff, back up with rude practice manager. Trying to speak with doctor for last 2 weeks but my appointments are getting cancelled and no reason given. I am 63 years old person and they way staff spoke with me is very rude. Make me cry that how such bad people in our NHS now.

Recepcion service making to much problems. I wanted registered and three times no successfully because my ID, Drive licence and bank statement is not good for proof my address. I think, woman from reception want be very important person. Today I was Preston road Surgery and registered was in 15 minutes. Today I send online complaint to NHS.
