Based in Blakeney on the North Norfolk coast, Blakeney Bolt Holes offers a selection of luxury, self-catering holiday cottages fully equipped and aimed at couples or small families. Our luxury cottages provide everything needed for a relaxing or romantic break on the beautiful North Norfolk coast and most allow dogs, so your trusted companion can enjoy a holiday too!

The area offers stunning walks on deserted beaches, great food and some excellent shopping, but is only a short drive from the midlands or London. A break on the rugged North Norfolk coast, in your own luxury and carefully sanitized cottage, is probably one of the safest holiday options. But to reassure our guests while the situation is so uncertain we're relaxing our cancellation policy for the next few months.

Originally from Norfolk, Fren was keen to have a bolt hole in the area and we soon found and fell in love with a small flint barn in Langham. Blakeney Bolt Holes was born soon after and we really enjoy sharing our holiday home, and the area we love so much, with other visitors.

Our second venture Anchor Bottle followed a year later and we're now fortunate enough to live in Blakeney full-time with our much loved dog, Pickle, running Blakeney Bolt Holes and the Anchor Shop, on Blakeney High Street. We hope you enjoy our Fren's Favourites, our Norfolk travel blog packed with holiday inspiration, the most beautiful Norfolk locations, walks, places to eat and drink.
Feeling rather like a luxury suite, The Loft is a vaulted apartment in a quiet location with lovely views over Blakeney's marshes and out, across the sea, to the 'Watch House'. It has recently undergone a full renovation and with it's views, airy living space and designated parking space it offers a truly relaxing base for a short break!
Situated in a quiet corner of the closest 'Loke' to the quay, a moment or two from the Blakeney's pretty harbour, The Wash House was originally a communal laundry for the adjacent fishermen's cottages! This unusual cottage has a contemporary style, with underfloor heating beneath the slate flooring, luxury fitted kitchen with dining table, large corner sofa, DVD and TV.
Harbour Deck has recently been fully renovated in a fresh and contemporary style, allowing it to take full advantage of the stunning harbour and marsh views it offers from both the kitchen/dining area and living room. This first floor apartment is based at the west end of Blakeney quay above the former chandlery, which now houses the elegant Flint Gallery.
Lytel Barn is a stunning contemporary barn, sleeping two, in a small, luxury barn complex in the pretty little village of Langham, under two miles from the coast at Blakeney, Cley and Morston. The barn has been lovingly converted to make the perfect bolt-hole base for visiting the North Norfolk coast which has so much to offer visitors.

When your looking for this it's called the anchor. It's a fab little gift shop with an awesome collection of cards, seaside gifts, bits for kids, nic naks, wall art and hand made glass ware. It is also handy if you need a hat, scarf, bag or beach wet shoes. The is a limited collection of clothing and some jewelry. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended a visit, there is a little bit of something for everyone.

Lovely, cosy cottage. Furnished and fitted tastefully and to a high standard and immaculately clean. Exceptionally well equipped, with everything you'll need ... real 'home from home'. The photos don't do it justice; it's actually more roomy than it appears. And Fren and Ed's customer service is so friendly and welcoming. Outstanding. Would definitely recommend :-)

This was our first stay in cottage in Blakeney, having previously stayed at the Manor Hotel. We stayed in the Wash House for a week and decided on this one after reading several reviews. We were not disappointed, the location-just off the High Street and opposite the White Horse also just a couple of minutes from the quay is superb. The inside has been converted to the highest standard and houses all of the mod cons;fridge/freezer, electric cooker/microwave/washer/dryer and dishwasher-also underfloor heating when required. The extra touches-flowers, tea, milk, chocolate, wine etc and everything
