We couldn't be prouder of being in one of the most glorious spots overlooking the sea above Cley and Blakeney in North Norfolk. We make the finest pork pies in a beautiful converted flint hay barn, which has beams, a red tiled roof and a sheltered walled garden courtyard. The flint-walled office leads into the bakery (with its old bread oven), which leads in to the pie makery, so we all move between tasks as the day demands.
We relish using local seasonal ingredients, foraging for wild garlic in spring and sourcing apples from the Sandringham Estate, further along the coast, in autumn. Windowsills and desks in the office often have posies of flowers found on lunchtime walks along the network of paths around the woods, and beside the chalk streams and farmland of the estate.

We can make a you a pie for any occasion. Our 7 pies famously and deliciously make great birthday gifts, leaving presents or work incentives, to name but three. They've been featured in magazines, newspaper articles and on television. The only limit to the occasions when a message written on a pie can be the perfect thing is your imagination!
The main focus of Bray's Cottage Pork Pies is working directly with the independent food trade, from large to small. We supply some of the best retailers, caterers and pubs across the UK and pride ourselves on a practical, friendly and professional approach, building up great, and loyal relationships with businesses across the UK.
But what is it that makes our pies so unique? Obviously, it's a combination of many things but ultimately it's just one big thing: our own love of really great food. Because without that we simply wouldn't go to the lengths that we do. Take, for instance, our meat. We use only the very best pork from outdoor and lovingly reared (in North Norfolk) pigs.
1 Preheat the oven to 200 degrees C (Gas mark 6 or 400F). Tip - Beware - oven thermostats do vary a lot, but you'll probably know if yours runs very hot and adjust accordingly. 2 No need to defrost - you are cooking it from frozen, in the foil dish. Tip - It's best to put some foil or greaseproof paper under the pie on a baking tray - it makes washing up much easier.

A pork pie is not a pork pie without the flavoursome moisture preserving jelly! Why oh why would you omit the jelly?? ? Very strange indeed, and sadly would have made the perfect pork pie had it only had some of the lovely pork stock encasing the filling. Without it, the pie tasted good - excellent meat filling, nice hot water crust: but dry and lacking the key ingredient which is JELLY!!! Celebrity endorsements aplenty, but ultimately not a true pork pie.

These are the very best pork pies we have ever, ever eaten!
'Wow' said one of our picnic guests, 'this is solid, delicious pork!'
We had chosen the celebration caramelised marmalade version and were over the moon with the flavour, ease of cutting, beautifully executed pastry message, and helpfulness of the team at Bray's. Thank you!

Two years ago yesterday, I had the very great pleasure of attending a pork pie workshop and learning how to make pork pies in the same way that Bray's Cottage do.
Sarah could not have been more welcoming, friendly or helpful, we all had a guided tour of the makery, bakery, office and grounds - what a view! We were provided with some slices of pie as part of our lunch and took our own pies home.
I had a wonderful time and highly recommend the workshop and the pies; they are delicious and though I know they are available by post and via stockists, when better than during British Pie Week, to plan

The best pork pies in the world.
After trying a couple of pies while on holiday we were hooked. We love them so much that we had to have a wedding pie and some celebration pies for the reception back home after the honeymoon.
We will be placing another order soon for our newborn daughters naming ceremony.

I've been lucky enough to taste Brays Cottage Pork Pies on many different occasions now, being a regular customer of the Norfolk Diet Farmers Market in Norwich each month, and I've never ever been disappointed. Delicious, crisp homemade pastry which holds in the most tasty pork filling. Whether a traditional BCPP, an Onion Marmalade or Chorizo variety (yes, I have tried them all!) they're just all wonderful - fit for a summer's picnic or a winter's comfort tea. Need my next one now 😊 Keep on making the best ever Pork Pies Brays Cottage.....& I'll keep on eating them 😉

Blown away by these pies, the best I have ever tasted hands down bar non. They were recommend to me by several different friends and after reading fantastic reviews of them by various different food critics I had to try them for myself and I was not disappointed!. Heston Blumenthal was right to pick the maker of these pies as the pork pie representative on his show last year.
Ask anyone with a taste bud in their head who has tried one what they are like, the reply is always positive.

I discovered Brays Cottage pork pies some years ago now, and can say, hands down that they are the best pork pies in the world (and I've been doing some checking!)-everything else is now a disappointment. They come in several different flavours, including onion marmalade, all day breakfast and chilli jam amongst others, and are absolutely delicious. They are made of really high quality meat, and a really good hot water pastry - if you are expecting a slightly greasy over processed pie with lots of jelly this is not it - it's a beautiful, meaty filling seasoned to perfection without any gaps, and
