Services
Acorn care homes provide a warm atmosphere, modern facilities, a broad range of services, excellent home cooked food and expert individualised care given by dedicated, happy staff. The Care Homes are situated on a hilly top that over look the North Downs that make them such a special place with an established team of people who really care about the individual needs of each resident.
We aim to provide comprehensive yet flexible support in the decision making process; family and friends are welcome to visit the facilities and we offer the opportunity to potential residents to visit the home to join other residents for a complimentary meal, if they wish.
We also offer the opportunity for residents to move in on a trial basis (normally daily fees apply for trial visits) and actively encourage residents to involve family and friends in their decision-making.Once the resident is happy to move in, we only get one opportunity to make a good impression; the way we commence their care provision influences how quickly and comfortably they settle into their new routines.

Acorn Care Homes supply some of the best quality care in the area and manage to be an affordable option at the same time. Acorn Care Homes offer a full spectrum of mental and physical healthcare and community nursing support for residents so that they may maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life.
You do not need to make an appointment to arrange a visit. We feel that you should be able to pop in at any time. If you wish to see the Manager, it is best to make an appointment to make sure she is available. When a new resident comes into our care for the first time, they are encouraged to write to friends, relatives etc. providing them with their new address and inviting them to visit.
Many thanks for all your help and care for my mum and the support that you gave the family. A big thank you to all of you Angels for the care and compassion you showed my Mother not to mention to us (her family). We will miss you all so much- keep up the good work. You do a very important job and are a great team.

Having much experience of care homes we can honestly say this is the best by far. Management and staff helpful and kind. This home is well led and professionally run both during the week and at weekends. Our father was content, well cared for and valued highly as an individual. We couldn’t have asked for better care. During the pandemic the hygiene was first class and this care hime needs to be recognised as one that stands out from the rest and being independently run it appears to be putting people’s needs and health first rather than profit first.

Attitude of carers very poor and negative. Some have no respect for others including residents. They are argumentative. No evidence of compassion, caring, effective
communication or competencies of skills for the role they play. Food given to
residents could be appalling..
Who ever has a family member there should keep a close eye more especially evenings and weekends
