Services
The Lowenac Hotel was constructed for a prominent local mining captain and shares in much of the history of Camborne has to offer. Camborne was a prosperous boom town in the nineteenth century, due to the tin mining industry. Sadly, the last tin mine closed a few years ago but the Camborne School of Mines is still a thriving educational establishment in the town.

We are constantly striving to bring you the very best value. Our accommodation rates below are for en-suite rooms on a bed only bases and include VAT at 20%. Those booking a wedding function at the Lowenac will benefit from a reduced rate on a bedroom for the night of the function, as well as discounts for guests booking rooms.

We couldn't fault them. They were very helpful and welcoming. Everything was very clean and they gave us an excellent breakfast. There was no restaurant so we did have to go out for our evening meal but they recommended an excellent Indian restaurant a short walk away. Just one suggestion : the lack of colour in the decor was a little depressing.

There isn't a ton to say about this hotel but it was safe, comfortable and convenient. THE Lowenac is very similar to Camborne itself: a quiet port to stay in as you explore the rest of Cornwall but don't expect anything fancy. The room was clean and sizable with an ensuite and a TV. WiFi is free and there was breakfast available for a price, although I didn't eat at all so cannot comment on the food. Parking is also freely available and it is a few minutes from the motor way which made it ideal as a base. I would stay again if I visited Cornwall as the best thing going for it was its affordability
