Where oceanic vistas form a beautiful backdrop and sunrise and sunset seem to linger a little longer than anywhere else. Stepping out onto the private terrace supping on champagne whilst surrounded by tropical palms and sublime seascapes on a balmy summer's night, you feel as though you could be anywhere in the world.

The Blue Hayes Private Hotel is perched on the hill rolling into St Ives, affording spectacular, almost-aerial views of the Bay stretching from the harbour and island to Godrevy lighthouse. Services
In keeping with the reputation of a hotel that is regarded by many of its guests as their "special place in St Ives", every room offers something different whilst maintaining an effortlessly easy and stylish demeanour.

With six sumptuous suites to choose from, each one features en suite bathrooms with body jet showers, unfeasibly comfortable beds with pocket-sprung mattresses and goose-down pillows and a host of other facilities: from tea and coffee-making stations, free wireless high-speed internet and TVs, to lavish finishing touches such as Molton Brown toiletries.
After waking, breakfast can be enjoyed in bed, in the decadent Dining Room, or why not spoil yourself with a lavish alfresco breakfast courtesy of the Blue Hayes' private terrace? Offering an array of foods for all appetites and tastes, whether you wish to feast on a traditional breakfast, omelette, smoked salmon, grilled mackerel and kippers or grilled Cornish gammon steak with any choice of eggs - meat eaters are catered for in supreme style.
On the last night we enjoyed the dinner platters again and, as a wonderful farewell, we both had lobster. It was presented beautifully, was delicious, and was a fitting finale to a wonderful stay. Whether you've found haven in the hotel all day and cannot bear to drag yourself away, or you're simply exhausted from a full day's outdoors exploration, a light evening supper menu is available at the hotel.
Ensuring maximum convenience and comfort for guests, the Blue Hayes Private Hotel is attentive to the needs of every individual, which is reflected in the range of facilities and services. Offering a comprehensive room service, guests can enjoy meals in the ease and privacy of their own rooms - ideal for a lavish lie-in or evening snack.

Expect a heady list of cocktails - from traditional to exotic - as many guests continue to add their own recipes for a truly global collection. Experiment with eclectic flavours for a sensory experience and fun, entertaining evening.

Absolutely amazing private hotel that gives you a warm welcome following a long journey, the staff are very attentive and the surroundings offer tranquility, peace and quiet as well as options to explore the coastline, the many attractions and resorts around this wonderful coastline . Picnic hampers are available as well as Cornish afternoon tea. An incredible breakfast is served fresh, (no food left on hot plates to serve yourself) plus an extensive cold supper menu which is difficult to choose from. Superb in every way!

Everything about this hotel is wonderful, plus a fantastic location. The welcome from Malcolm and his staff is excellent all so friendly, helpful, professional and with nothing being to much trouble for them. Breakfasts and suppers are absolutely superb, served in a beautiful dining room. It's extremely covid safe throughout in every detail.
Returning here is always an absolute pleasure.

We absolutely loved it here. Private, away from it all and backed up to Porthminster Beach. Its elegant surroundings and beautiful views are complemented by superb service. This is class, but definitely not pretention. There are only five suites here and we took the Master. It wasn't ridiculously large or furnished in royal ado, but was instead crisp, open. The French Doors opened to a private patio and harbourscape devoured our hectic senses.

The facility itself is rather modern despite the 1920s history, what with smart minimalist furnishings, bright splashes of colour, a lovely terrace
