A much better experience than the Google reviews would have led me to believe. Our triple room was large, clean and incredibly cheap. The bathrooms looked to be new and more than did the job!

Me and my friend we had a stay for one week and the house owner was kind with us and talkative, the house is nice and comfy, the beds where we've slept are awesome, also he gave us every morning new teas and milk to have a good starting. Actually valuable for what it offers

My god what a dive! 😂 dirty sink and odd mugs we couldn't even drink out of as they where so gross... shared bathroom, awful beds... never again. Only good thing was the nice man that greeted us. Would rather of paid £20 more to stay in Travel Lodge..

My stay here was absolutely excellent, it had a great atmosphere and a warm welcome. I don’t see how it is only 2 stars.. it was more than adequate accommodation and very nicely priced. If I need a roof over my head again I will be staying here!

You get what you pay for... and then some.
I arrived on a Friday morning and everyting was pretty good. Clean sheets, nice location relative to the train station, decent facilities. This is not, of course, why I gave it 3 stars.
On the last night of my stay, a Saturday night, I was right to anticipate a certain loudness to the whole house's occupants, and that there was. I was not prepared, however, for a fire alarm at 2am Sunday morning, caused by some delinquents smoking a nefarious substance in their room. About half an hour later the fire services had cleared us to return to bed.

Little bit far from train station. Family owned place with a very small rooms. Bathroom next door. Its big and nice. Walls are thin so you can hear people. Would be better to serve breakfast like B&B houses.

This place was pretty cheap, but pretty depressing.
Everything was grubby, by which I mean unclean. Light switches and door handles covered in dirt. The shower room was a study in mildew, with the dirt of ages in the spaces behind the doors. It's not often you feel dirtier after having a shower.
Of the two sets of plug sockets in our room, one had a non functioning plug and the other was loose in the wall. The bedding had a second hand feel to it, as did the cups provided for tea and coffee.
We did select on price and we were late in placing the booking. It's a lesson learned. I very much doubt

I have backpacked in India and the accommodation was better there!! The place is Filthy I won't go into detail as it has all been said already by Aoibhe and Stephanie their reviews are very accurate.
I would never stay here again even if I was desperate!
