The Sorrento Hotel is a medium sized hotel, all rooms are well appointed fully en-suite bedrooms maintained to an excellent standard in decor, facilities and cleanliness. Room types include - Single, Double, Twin, Deluxe, and Family etc. Deluxe room - These rooms are our bridal rooms each comprising of a Jacuzzi and sauna, en-suite to the room, with a king size four poster bed, an ironing board and trouser press facility and room safe.
All rooms have facilities associated with a three star Hotel: Room Trouser Press/ complimentary tea and coffee making facilities/Toiletries/Colour television with remote control room safes and fridges (on request.) All our rooms have an electronic door card entry locking system for your extra peace of mind and easy access.

We are an informal Italian restaurant that loves to prepare food as our granny taught us. Our dishes are simple and tasty. Portions are generous but if you're still hungry you shouldn't hesitate to ask for more. If you're looking for a fancy restaurant with a nouvelle cuisine our place is not the right one, but if you want to feel at home and have a good portion of pasta or a well cooked pizza, than this is your place.
Our conference room boasts an unusual set up. Slightly different from the normal four walls, our conference room is airy and ornate with arches down the centre. Our conference room is fully air conditioned with the latest Dakin air conditioning units, which can be controlled via a remote control to ensure your conference will be as comfortable as possible.
The University of Cambridge is rich in history - its famous Colleges and University buildings attract visitors from all over the world. But the University's museums and collections also hold many treasures which give an exciting insight into some of the scholarly activities, both past and present, of the University's academics and students.
What a fabulous experience staying at the Sorrento hotel was. We have stopped at several hotels in Cambridge as our son is at Uni here but none have matched the friendly warm service, the cleanliness and comfort. We felt very comfortable here, including eating in the adjourning Italian restaurant. We will be back!

Cannot give high enough praise to this family run hotel, 50 years of Italian hospitality. Personal attention from arrival to departure, cannot be faulted. Spotless, in all aspects of hospitality. Food of highest quality, especially in the evening when an independent Italian chef rents the dining room! Again very personable. Totally unlike any “chain” hotel. I only hope the third generation can face the trials of hospitality.

Only stayed one night. Staff and owner really nice and couldn't do enough We arrived with no where to park but owner who has a house on the same street arrange for me to park on their drive,, thanks. Nice clean room although our ensuite the shower was small hence dropped 1 star. 🙂🙂🙂🙂 Breakfast was nice
