Farfield Nursery is a Private Day Nursery in Saltaire which cares for children from 3 months to 5 years. We offer a genuinely caring environment for children. We are supportive. We are flexible. We are different. We know we are - and so do our children and their parents. We like fresh air and blue sky - we enjoy playing in three outside areas with slides, ride-on cars and a range of outdoor toys.
We like our mealtimes - our food is freshly cooked on premises, and provides a minimum of three portions of fruit and vegetables daily. We like to have a rest - we have a quiet and cosy area, so that everyone who's tired can have a nap. We like to have fun - we read books, we paint, we build and we play with water.

Farfield Nursery encourages healthy eating by providing freshly prepared food made on the premises. The menus are well balanced providing a minimum of three portions of fruit and vegetables daily. Special dietary requirements can be catered for. Nursery will offer children a minimum of three portions of fruit and vegetables every day.
Ofsted is a governing and regulatory body for all childcare providers in England and Wales. Ofsted carries out independent, expert inspections to all nurseries, and produces independent reports which help parents and the wider community to make informed choices about childcare.
The latest Ofsted report about childcare at Farfield Nursery was very complimentary about our nursery stating that 'children fully engage in their activities and they experience rich, varied and imaginative learning opportunities throughout the day'.They also said that 'the quality of teaching is highly effective and very good' and as a result 'children show good levels of interest and are highly motivated, inquisitive and independent learners'.
